Overview
MicroPRINT offers a complete set of services ranging from high resolution scanning, image manipulation, and digital printing. Since 1986, MicroPRINT has been servicing the printing needs of business clients throughout New England.
The Problem
MicroPRINT was faced with the challenge of interfacing client data, and shipment data with their own internal processes. Handling the increasing volume of client orders manually was very error-prone and time consuming. MicroPRINT staff was manually entering data at various stages of the production cycle which was then compiled and sent back in the format required by the client. This process significantly reduced the productivity at MicroPRINT.
ListEngage's solution
ListEngage upon analysis of existing MicroPRINT methods was able to develop a customized extranet-intranet solution. ListEngage created an online permission-based extranet with customized views for employees with different tasks at MicroPRINT. Data from the client and the shipping vendor was imported into the extranet. MicroPRINT employees involved in the order fulfillment process were now able to log in, collaborate and enter the necessary information at the various stages of the production cycle in an automated manner. This process greatly enhanced productivity at MicroPrint
