Overview
Fidelity Investor is the only independent site dedicated to making Fidelity mutual fund investments safer and more profitable. Jim Lowell, editor of Fidelity Investor was looking for a platform that will enable Fidelity Investor disseminate vital market information to Fidelity Investor subscribers in a timely and coherent manner. Fidelity Investor contacts its huge member base on a weekly basis via two main email broadcasts called "The Fidelity Investor hotline" and the "Fidelity Sector Investor".

The Problem
Prior to the association with ListEngage these two broadcasts were sent out in the form of unformatted text email, which made it rather cumbersome for reading, considering that it contained rows and columns of Fidelity fund performance data. There was also no formal and easy method of handling the cumbersome and important task of managing bounce backs, duplicate emails, unsubscribe requests and making sure every email was CAN-SPAM law compliant.

ListEngage's solution
ListEngage was hired by Fidelity Investor to configure the email platform, create HTML emails, deliver them personalized, track responses and make this process CAN-SPAM complaint. The first task at hand was data hygiene. ListEngage worked quickly to combine, merge and upload several lists from Fidelity Investor, that existed in different formats and eliminate duplicate and bad email addresses. Using ListEngage's email marketing platform, the team now creates professional looking "Sector Investor" and the "Weekly Hotline" newsletters that present the data in a pleasant and legible format. The solution was quick, cost effective, and did not require Fidelity Investor to get into any expensive hardware or software licensing agreements.
